Is your Feeld match real?

Fake profiles usually borrow someone else’s photos; upload the one your match shared and we’ll quietly check public pages for that face.

1The doubt

Sound familiar?

  • A “couple” that’s only ever one person

Two names on the profile, but only one of them ever types, calls or shows up in a photo.

  • Discreet, with model photos

No face on the profile, then a flawless portrait in private, a little too flawless.

“I keep my face private, but here’s one just for you”

  • Private on both sides

You want to check without anyone knowing, them included. Nobody is notified, and nothing is posted.

2The check

Just you, one photo and the public web.

Pick the clearest photo they shared; we compare it with public profiles on 20 platforms and list the closest faces first.

  1. Your photo

Use a photo from their profile or one they sent you, cropped to a single clear face.

  2. Our legwork

Feeld isn’t one of our sources, so we look for that face on 20 public platforms outside it.

  3. Your call

Each possible match links to its public page with a similarity score. You compare; we never contact anyone.

3What turns up

Discretion works both ways.

All we look for is whether the photo you were shown is being used somewhere else, under another name.

  • Photos copied from someone’s public page
  • The same face presented under another name
  • A link and a similarity score for each possible match
A similar face is a reason to look closer, not proof. And an empty list clears no one.

Sample: Instagram, @lena.demo, 88% face match

  1. 1Opens on Instagram
  2. 2Similarity score, closest first
  3. 3Another name, same face

Found something?

  1. Put the pages side by side
  2. Ask for a quick video call
  3. Keep the chat in the app for now
  4. Report the profile if it doesn’t add up

4Before you meet

Red flags worth a second look.

  • “Couple” photos where they’re never together
  • Photos that turn up elsewhere under another name
  • Pressure to send photos before you’re ready
  • Requests to move to another app right away

Before you meet up

Talk boundaries early and video call first; pressure to switch apps or send money or gift cards is your cue to stop.

Their secret isn’t yours to share.

Many people on Feeld stay private on purpose: check only an adult who agreed, and never use a result to out, expose or reach them elsewhere.

What you may search

Your own face, an adult who clearly consented, or someone you are legally authorised to investigate.

Prohibited uses

No minors or images you have no right to use, and never to stalk, harass, profile, or decide on jobs or housing.

Every search is logged. Accounts that break these rules are closed without refunds.

Questions, answered.

Does FindSherlock search Feeld?

No. Feeld isn’t one of our sources, and we see nothing inside it: no profiles, desires or chats. We only look for the face you upload on public pages across 20 platforms.

Is a Feeld profile without a face photo a red flag?

Not on its own; discretion is normal on Feeld, and a photo check needs a clear face anyway. If you both want more trust before meeting, a video call or a photo shared by choice gets you there.

How do I spot a fake Feeld profile?

Glossy photos that look like a shoot, pressure to move to another app, requests for money or gift cards and a story that keeps shifting. If their photo also appears elsewhere under another name, step back.

Can a result tell me who someone is?

No. A result is a link and a similarity score, not an identity; it only helps you decide whether to keep talking.

Will my match or anyone else know I checked?

No. We don’t contact anyone and no one is notified. Your photo is used only to run the search.

How much does a search cost?

One coin is one search. Coin packs start at $1.99, and coins never expire. Searching often? Pro unlocks every result for $4.99 a week, $9.99 a month or $19.99 a year, billed in US dollars.

Before things go any further?

Add the photo you were shown and see whether it lives under another name before you share anything of yours.
