Is that Tinder profile fake?

Or just photogenic? Upload a photo from your match’s profile and we’ll look for that face outside Tinder, on public profiles across 20 platforms.

1The doubt

Too good to be true?

  • Model-grade photos, zero friends

Every shot looks like a campaign, and nobody else is ever in the frame.

  • Leaving the app, fast

You’ve barely said hi and they already want your number or another app.

“I hardly use Tinder, text me on WhatsApp?”

  • Always a reason not to video call

Broken camera, bad signal, busy week. The photos do all the talking.

2The check

A little check before coffee.

The clearest photo on their profile is enough; we look for that face on public pages and list the closest first.

  1. Your photo

Use a photo from their profile or one they sent you, cropped to a single clear face.

  2. Our legwork

Tinder isn’t one of our sources, so we look for that face on 20 public platforms outside it.

  3. Your call

Each possible match links to its public page with a similarity score. You compare; we never contact anyone.

3What turns up

What might turn up?

Same face, another name: that’s the pattern we look for, closest match first.

  • The same photos used under another name
  • Pictures lifted from a model or influencer
  • One face behind several unrelated accounts
A similar face is a reason to look closer, not proof. And an empty list clears no one.

Sample: Instagram, @lena.demo, 91% face match

  1. 1Opens on Instagram
  2. 2Similarity score, closest first
  3. 3Another name, same face

Found something?

  1. Put the pages side by side
  2. Ask for a quick video call
  3. Keep the chat in the app for now
  4. Report the profile if it doesn’t add up

4Before you meet

Red flags worth a second look.

  • Asks for money, gift cards or crypto, whatever the reason
  • Pushes you off the app within a few messages
  • The story shifts: job, city or age don’t add up
  • “New” photos that all look like the same shoot

When the date’s on

Video call first, meet somewhere busy and tell a friend where you’ll be.

Double-checking is fine. Digging isn’t.

Check adults only, with photos they showed you, and only after a quick “mind if I check your photos?” gets a yes.

What you may search

Your own face, an adult who clearly consented, or someone you are legally authorised to investigate.

Prohibited uses

No minors or images you have no right to use, and never to stalk, harass, profile, or decide on jobs or housing.

Every search is logged. Accounts that break these rules are closed without refunds.

Questions, answered.

Do you search Tinder profiles?

No, Tinder isn’t one of our sources. We take the face from the photo you upload and look for it on public pages across 20 platforms, such as Instagram, TikTok and Facebook.

What if the photo shows up under another name?

Put the pages side by side and compare them yourself, then ask for a video call. If things still don’t add up, report the profile to Tinder.

Is it OK to check my match?

Yes, if they’re an adult, the photos are ones they showed you and they’re fine with it; “mind if I check your photos before we meet?” is a fair question, and the result is only for deciding whether to meet.

Will my match know I checked?

No. We don’t contact anyone, and your match isn’t notified.

How much does a search cost?

One coin is one search. Coin packs start at $1.99, and coins never expire. Searching often? Pro unlocks every result for $4.99 a week, $9.99 a month or $19.99 a year, billed in US dollars.

Swiped right? Now take a closer look.

Add your match’s clearest photo and see, before the first date, whether that face lives under another name.
